Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku has warned his players they must be at their best against Egypt’s FC Masar.
The Nigerian champions will take on the Egyptians in their second group game at the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League on Wednesday.
Aduku’s side thrashed fellow debutants Commercial Bank of Ethiopia 3-0 in their opening fixture on Sunday.
A win against FC Masar will see them in a good position to historically secure a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
The gaffer said it is important for his team to respect their opponent.
“Them (FC Masar) defeating the champions (Mamelodi Sundowns) has certainly given them confidence, but we are not here to undermine any team,” Aduku told CAF’s official website.
‘” What I have told my team is that every team that is here are potential champions and we have to play every game like it is a cup final.”
